The doctors say, have sex safely after the patient feel comfortable and can do a little exercise, or be able to go up two flights of stairs. In a study of 1184 men and 576 women aged 60 years and never had a heart attack in mind, one year after  had heart attack, two-thirds of male respondents and 40 percent of respondents said women remain sexually active.

The men are generally more sexually active and trying to maintain his sex life after a heart attack. However, most patients say they dare to have sex if the doctors declared them safe for the heart.
