A recent study by the Harvard School of Public Health found that eating meat is eaten every day (such as ham, sausage and bacon), can increasing the risk of heart disease (42 percent) and diabetes type 2 (19 percent). The purpose of the processed meat is meat that is cooked with roasted or salted.

However, still according to the same research team, if that is consumed is not yet processed meats (such as beef, lamb, or pork), not seen the same increase in risk even if you eat twice as much.

According to them, meat preparations containing four times as much salt and preservatives nitrate 50 per cent more. This is what explains why the salt and preservatives to increase the risk of heart disease than fat. The results of this research need to Convey a better understanding of the potential bad of processed meat

According to the researchers, if you want to eat meat, choose lean meats, and healthy way to process them, such as cooking, baking or frying. For flavor, you can use fresh or dried fruit to replace salt.

Many people did not know about the benefits of exercise walking. In fact, walking considered less useful and were classified as second-class sport. In fact, according to research, exercise walking has many benefits.

So far, experts do not understand how wonderful it was that physical activity may protect the body. This secret became known only after the experts from Harvard University, United States, studied 70,000 women who have the habit of exercising regularly.

According to the leadership of Frank B.HU.MD researchers from Harvard School of Public Health said that although they have risk factors such as overweight, high cholesterol, high-blood pressure or diabetes. But, if exercise walking for forty minutes each day will reduce the risk as much as 40%. A number of very significant decline.

Another study stated that a longer walk (ie the way up to 60 minutes) will also benefit more protection. Walking exercise for 16 minutes every day can reduce your risk of diabetes up to 50%. Therefore, start walking exercise now, even though you’ve aged 60 years and have never exercised before. You will feel the benefit, which you will feel more intelligent than the peer’s age.

The researchers also gathered 124 people who never exercise, they were aged between 60-75 years, divided into two groups. One group was given exercise walking exercise 3 days/week (in stages from 15 to 45 minutes). Meanwhile, another group do stretching exercises and muscle toning for one hour, three times a week.

After practicing for 6 months, a walking practice group increased markedly the values obtained from the computer. While the group that only did stretching exercises not get improved value.

Based on the study, part of the brain responsible for managing various kinds of memory tasks and there is a declining trend set earlier. But the sport the way to increase the flow of oxygen to the brain, which may slow this decline. Walking exercise as much as 3 days a week can improve brain function 15 percent. This is very meaningful to human life. Moreover, the time required for the exercise is very short.

Sport, including walking can be useful as a drug. Those who regularly exercising less often experienced depression. Based on recent study, it is known that once the exercise or walk for 30 minutes and exercise for 3 times a week, it can cure depression and useful as a substitute for drugs.

If you want to prevent or manage high blood pressure, the need to keep cholesterol levels down. You should avoid eating foods high LDL cholesterol. You can not reduce the food with cholesterol at all, but trying to determine what foods are good for you and what is bad can sometimes threaten to increase your blood pressure.

Topics food to increase HDL cholesterol important to them that cholesterol is burgeoned out of control. Not surprisingly, eating the right foods/food can be a valuable tool in protecting yourself from heart attack and stroke.
Think of HDL cholesterol as their own lean mean fighting machine that when given a second chance as a whole will reduce cholesterol and the bad cholesterol. HDL also has a unique gift that can reduce arterial plaques already present, which are the root cause of many cardiovascular diseases.

HDL represents for high thickness lipoproteins. These are small molecules that transport cholesterol throughout the body. They are very solid, especially those made from protein, and because they can get into the blood vessels eventually take charge of their fat out of the door, in the form of solid waste.

But sometimes even this titan healthy cholesterol can not follow the requirements placed upon him. He just has too much cholesterol floating around and some of them end up in the end will be saved in the artery. Over time this buildup will cause more hardening of emphysema. When the other disease of the lungs begin to lose flexibility constriction begins, and blood flow to the heart is slowed or blocked. Blood carries oxygen to the heart, and if your heart is starved of oxygen as coronary general warning signs as chest pain and shortness of breath occur.

So now we know a little more about the reasons why we should find the food to increase HDL. This is a list of foods can increase HDL:

Oatmeal And Oat Bran
Oatmeal as one of the best food one can eat to help lower cholesterol. To get the most useful assistance from oatmeal and oat bran, you should not drown in a bowl of butter and maple syrup. Cold cereal containing wheat bran also the good HDL cholesterol foods.

Nuts
Fresh, unsweetened walnuts or almonds can not only help you lower your cholesterol, they also can help think the whole so you can more easily connect to a sensible and balanced. People need to lower their LDL cholesterol levels often need to reduce saturated fat intake as well. Although walnuts and almonds contain fat, the fat Polyunsaturated not aggravate your blood pressure. You can only eat about two ounces of nuts for Snacking session.

Oily Fish
Oily fish food is good hdl cholesterol. Includes types of salmon, sardines, herring, albacore tuna and mackerel. Do not like them fried or drenched cream, sauces fattening

Avocados
26 of the 30 grams of fat in an avocado is considered good fat and they boost hdl levels as well.

Apples
Scientists have yet to determine whether it is the pectins or flavonoids that cause hdl levels to rise, ldl to decrease, and produce an overall decrease in blood cholesterol.

Cranberries
Cranberries juice can boost good cholesterol

To lower cholesterol is basically dependent our habits, the food we eat everyday. The core of the cholesterol-lowering basically means finding ways to increase HDL and decrease LDL. So actually you can use the help drugs to lower cholesterol, but of course drugs are not safe and will have side effects. Safer way is lower cholesterol naturally.

How much you know about the risk of disease related to cholesterol? Does a history of heart attack or stroke run in your family? Do you have high blood pressure? Do you have one of the warning signs of heart disease as easy as breath or chest pain? Do you smoke? Are you having a heart attack or stroke before? If you answered yes to any one know what the normal levels of HDL cholesterol for your particular set of events is a critical part to prevent cardiovascular disease in future disasters.

What is cholesterol anyway? HDL represents for high-density lipoprotein or good cholesterol. X-ray studies have shown that people can raise their HDL levels not only reduce cholesterol in other lung disease, but also remove plaque. Translation: In the normal to normal levels of HDL cholesterol dramatically reduce your chances of artery-related diseases.

What is normal HDL cholesterol level? What is generally considered as a desirable HDL reading is 60 mg / dl to 40-59 mg / dl is considered as the limit, and anything below 40 is considered extremely dangerous. It is also important to show that good cholesterol tended to decrease with age and more than half of people who have a heart attack at age 45 and 80 percent of those who died at 65. So as you can see as one of the year has increased efforts should be made to maintain or exceed the conventional usage.

Smoking make a difference? The relationship between smoking and cholesterol may decline but let’s face it even know the risk can be difficult to stop, and many are not successful the first try. If you ask your doctor about the normal level of HDL cholesterol may be one of the questions you see her ask you in return is if you smoke. The reason is that smoking is not just hammer down the protective good cholesterol levels low risk but perhaps more important is accelerating buildup of cholesterol plaque in the walls of damaged blood vessels. But part of the discussion on normal levels of HDL and smoking all should pay attention to the dangers of cigarette smoke. Most experts agree that inhaling second hand smoke as hazardous as the real thing.

Note: The highest risk for heart attack demographic inactive over people age 50 years smoke.

What’s Next? Reduction of cholesterol, in many cases, it is about changing old habits, new habits to use a more robust, and make a list of medications help conventions such as statins or natural cholesterol-lowering the drugs if necessary. Put simply, it usually means finding ways to increase HDL (good cholesterol) and lowers LDL (bad cholesterol). Of course, statin drugs would be one of your options, but they brought some serious warning labels. The risk of side effects has made a natural cholesterol reducing dietary supplement in combination with changes to the combination of alternative treatments worth considering.

High cholesterol levels increase risk of heart attack and other vascular diseases. Someone with high cholesterol may benefit from dietary counseling, preferably by a dietitian, along with weight control and exercise. Many will need a lipid-lowering drug in addition. These agents fall into several classes that include statins, fibric acid derivatives, bile acid sequestrants, nicotinic acid (also known as niacin) and the cholesterol absorption inhibitors. These drugs differ in how they work and the degree and type of the lipid they lower.

Physicians usually prescribe a drug based on the underlying lipid abnormality. The most common type of cholesterol problem is a high LDL (low density lipoprotein) which is usually best treated with a statin, of which there are at least four on the market. When a patient cannot tolerate any statin, reasonable options include the use of ezetimibe (trade name Zetia); bile acid sequestrants; fenofibrate, which inhibits liver enzymes; and niacin. Referral to a lipid specialist is also very appropriate in such patients.

To understand what foods are good and bad for you, it can be good to have an advanced knowledge of exactly what cholesterol is. Cholesterol and triglycerides are the two types of fat that are found in the human bloodstream. These ‘blood fats’ are also known as lipids. Youser body makes cholesterol in your liver, and it gets it from the foods you eat.

Cholesterol is an odd substance, for you need it to survive, but too much of it can be very detrimental to your health. High cholesterol levels in the blood stream, if left unchecked, can block blood flow and increase your risk of various heart problems, including atherosclerosis and carotid artery disease.

People with high cholesterol should avoid or limit their consumption of certain foods. Knowing which foods to avoid for high cholesterol is an important step, but it doesn’t end there. There are a number of other foods that may not be considered high cholesterol foods but that still raise your LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol) more than high cholesterol foods do.

Cholesterol comes from animals. If a food does not come from an animal (such as fruits or vegetables), then it does not have cholesterol. Foods with the highest amounts of cholesterol are eggs and liver. For example, an egg yolk has 213 mg of cholesterol. Other high cholesterol foods to avoid include:

Whole-milk dairy products

Butter

Cream

Ice cream

Cream cheese

Certain shellfish (such as shrimp)

Organ meats (such as kidney and brain)

Duck and goose (which have more cholesterol than chicken or turkey; the skin on these animals is high in cholesterol).

Beef

Veal

Pork

Lamb

Do you have high cholesterol level? Having a high cholesterol level is an unpleasant thing. Because of the high cholesterol in the body, can cause various diseases, one of them heart disease. There are various ways to lower cholesterol. Now a lot of drugs made of chemical fabric to lower cholesterol, you can buy at the pharmacy near your home. But of course all the chemicals have side effects. In addition to using drugs made from chemicals, there are other options that could become a mainstay for lowering your cholesterol, which reduce cholesterol levels a natural way. Eat foods that can lower cholesterol levels. There are few foods that can reduce levels of low-density Lipoproptein (LDL), aka bad cholesterol that causes plaque in blood vessels, and increase High-Density Lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol alias that can be utilized either body to process vitamins are soluble in fat.

To reduce levels of LDL, you should reduce your intake of saturated fat. Saturated fats are usually found in animal products, such as meat, milk, cream, butter, and cheese. There are also saturated fats derived from plant such as coconut, coconut oil, and vegetable fat.

But there are also many kinds of foods that contain unsaturated fats, so very effectively lower cholesterol levels, including:

Soybean. Soybeans and derivatives, aka soy that has been processed such as a tofu, tempeh, soy milk, and soy flour contains isoflavones, which is a substance that can suppress LDL. But remember, though delicious tofu and tempeh can not effectively lower cholesterol when cultivated in vain. For example, fried in oil or mixed with coconut milk jelantah. Because, coconut milk and cooking oil is a source of saturated fat. Agency Food and Drug Administration United States (FDA) recommends to consume at least 25 grams of soy protein per day to lower cholesterol.

Nuts. Nuts are a source of soluble fiber are very high. Consuming soluble fiber can reduce cholesterol. Eating nuts such as beans, red beans, long beans regularly for six weeks can reduce cholesterol levels by 10%.

Salmon Fish, The salmon is very good because they contain omega-3 acids can help reduce LDL and raise HDL trigiserilda well. Salmon contains EPA and DHA are good for heart health. The American Heart Association recommends at least two servings per week to obtain maximum benefit. Besides salmon, tuna, trout, sardines, mackerel, and herring are also good.

Avocado. Avocado is a source of unsaturated fats that can increase HDL levels. Unfortunately, high-calorie avocados, so that should be combined with vegetables that can suppress the calories. One medium avocado contains 300 calories and 30 grams of unsaturated fats, while a normal human body needs is 1,800 calories and 30 grams of unsaturated fat per day.

Garlic. Since thousands of years ago, garlic was believed to contain many substances that are good for human health. The Ancient Egyptians used garlic to increase stamina. In modern times, garlic is used to lower cholesterol, prevent blood clotting, lowering blood pressure, and protects the body from infection. The most recent findings, garlic can prevent cholesterol particles on the walls of blood vessels.

Spinach. Spinach contains a lot of lutein. Lutein is an important substance that can maintain the health and sharpness of eye function. Lutein also was able to maintain heart health because it can prevent fat in the blood vessels attached. Advisable, to eat spinach every day about half a bowl for maximum results.

Margarine. Several types of margarines can lower cholesterol levels. For example margarine flower seeds from canola oil.

Made, Almon, and Walnuts. Monounsaturated fat, in the cashews, almonds, and walnuts are low-fat foods are good for heart health. Nuts also contain vitamin E, magnesium, and phytochemicals which is closely related to heart health. Unfortunately, like avocados, nuts are very high in protein. So, do not be greedy to eat peanuts really benefit maximum.

Tea. Tea, to be drunk cold or hot, the same benefits. Tea contains antioxidants that can make blood vessels relax so avoid blood clotting. Antioxidants in tea, the flavonoids can prevent LDL oxidation that causes blood vessels piled on. Enjoying a glass of tea every day could meet the needs of antioxidants.

Chocolate. Chocolate was healthy. Of course, chocolate is mixed too much milk contains too much fat. So, choose dark chocolate or bitter. Healthy chocolate because it contains many antioxidants and flavonoids. White chocolate, it does not contain substances that are consumed less healthy. Content of flavonoids in chocolate varies depending on where the chocolate is growing and processing process.
