and for the aid measures :
- immediately contact the nearest doctor or midwife.
- wash your hands thoroughly.
- wait baby born naturally and put on a clean blanket. NEVER ever try to pull or rotate the baby during childbirth.
- if the baby wrapped in membranes, break with a pin or a sterile scissors.
- after the baby is out, clean the face, mouth and nose with sterile gauze or a clean cloth.
- note that the cord is not taut, so it should be loose.
- if the doctor had not arrived but the baby already born, cut the umbilical cord approximately 10 cm from the baby’s navel. then with sterile gauze, tightly tied the umbilical cord that had been cut. ties should be worn in two places.
- if the doctor or midwife has not come in 1 hour, immediately brought to hospitals. If you are not an expert, DO NOT try to do the labor.
- do not waste the umbilical cord which had been cut. Give to the doctor or midwife to be examined
- clean the baby with oil, then wash with warm water and then give the baby’s eyes with eyedrops or eye ointment containing the antibiotic.
- clean up the mother and put sanitary napkins in her vagina.
