Provide cell phone to children is a dilemma. One side, you are more easy to contact them, but on the other hand, if wrong in uses, it could be bad for their development. Before deciding to give your childern cell phone, there are some things you should consider.
First, with whom your children every day? If your child is still accompanied by their grandmother, or nanny, you should just give them a cell phone. If you want to check on the child, simply call their grandmother or their nanny.
Second, make sure their concentration is not disturbed because their cell phone. Do not let them lulled with SMS or calling their friends rather than learning. If your child is still underage teens, you should give them a cell phone that do not have many features. Because usually they only need to call in an emergency,or be called. Give cell phone which too expensive to your child will also endanger them. It is not possible, your child has become a target for bad guys who want their cell phone.
When your child is asking for a cell phone, try to study the reasons why they want a cell phone. Does they really need it, or just went along with their social environment. Do not buy something useless in children.
