On average, mammography will detect about 80 to 90 percent of breast cancers in women without symptoms. But the examination by mammography is currently the most effective way to detect cancer early. Thus, breast cancer can be identified before physical symptoms are growing. The right time to detect breast cancer is one week after menstruation.
