The symptoms of CVS are red eye, tender and juicy, dry, tired, eyelids or forehead feels heavy, headache, migraine and pain in the shoulder. In addition to CVS, often working at the computer can also cause myopia (nearsightedness), high eye pressure (glaucoma) and pull the outer muscles of the eyeball.
Rini gives a few tips, so your eyes do not get tired while working at the computer :
- Rest your eyes for 10 to 15 minutes or 1 hour if needed.
- Looking at distant objects for 10 seconds.
- Adjust the light from your computer.
- Adjust the seat position (90 degrees)
- Adjust the keyboard position (100 degrees) from elbow.
- Distance of monitor and eye (50-74 cm).
