Aid measures :

- Cooling with ice the hurt area, especially in the early injury.
- Press hurt area with elastic bandages.
- If still hurts to walk, use a crutch.
- Gently stretch the thighs and hips.
- Physical Therapy (if you need it).
- If there is a muscle tear, the patient needed surgery.
To prevent the occurrence of a hamstring injury, the muscles must be strong and flexible. For that, you need to do stretching exercise and good muscle strengthening. Also, before exercise, it should always warm up before and cool down afterward. As the saying goes, better to prevent than cure.
