Rabies is not only in dogs, it also occurs in cats, monkeys and other warm-blooded animals. If you can, you should immediately catch the animal that bit you to determine whether there is rabies or not. Not diseased animals will only bite if threatened or seduced. When the animal attacked compulsively (without interruption or threatened), there is a possibility that the animal had rabies. The spread of rabies in humans is long enough (10 days to a year). But for animals, more or less 2 days later the signs of the rabies will appear.
