<p style="text-align: justify;">Wine, cocktails, and beer is known have high sugar content. However, researchers from <em>Navarro University</em> in Spain found that drinking alcohol in reasonable doses every day can actually help maintain weight.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">According to them, people who drank wine and dieting can more easily lose weight than those who stopped taking it, or than those who drank other types of alcohol.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">&#8221;Mild to moderate intake of alcohol, especially wine, may contribute more to fight rather than gain weight,&#8221; the researchers said.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The researchers said they analyzed the results of 31 studies and found no association between drinking alcohol in a reasonable dose and body weight.</p>

However, researchers from Netherlands still do not know why people who consume apples, pears even pineapple and cabbage in high amounts can lower the risk of stroke by 25%.  At the beginning of the study, respondents from the Netherlands asked to fill out questions about diet and lifestyle in previous years. By using information and health records of respondents more than 10 years later, researchers examined the relationship between vegetables and fruits with risk of stroke.<span id="more-3302"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Researchers found that consuming 25 grams of vegetables and fruit per day can lower white 9% risk of stroke. More than half of respondents claimed to consume apples and pears. So far, they have not found a relationship between stroke and colored vegetables or fruit.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Linda Oude Griep</strong>, from the <em>University Wagenginen</em>, Netherlands, said, need further research why white vegetables and fruits are very useful to fight against stroke.</p>

Vinson study contradicts with the study done at <em>Harvard School of Public Health</em> that mention potatoes as the main perpetrators of weight gain, more than red meat and soft drinks.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">&#8220;Often parents are preparing the food composition more calories and low in nutrients. So, full is not enough to maximize children&#8217;s growth,&#8221; said Joan.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">For example, noodles or pasta, rice, potatoes, and vegetables. Noodles, rice, and potatoes are a source of calories. While nutrition is only obtained from vegetables.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">&#8220;Choose only one of the menu as a source of calories. The rest can be replaced by eggs, fish, chicken, beans, or meat as a source of nutrients,&#8221; said Joan.</p>
